Summary: Quality pendant, un-ideal necklace
Comment: The Star of David pendant was very nice; it had a little bit of "heft" to it and a mirror finish front and back with a nice mark on the back indicating that it was sterling silver. I liked the design and the proportions for a man; not dainty or exaggerated either. The little black pouch to hold the pendant when not worn was also a nice touch.
The chain was a different story, however. I thought 24" was much too long. It is not sterling silver as far as I can tell, and it is true what another reviewer said about the pendant not sliding on it smoothly. The pendant actually catches on the chain and often does not rest in the middle when worn. (I made a shorter cotton cord necklace to be worn with the pendant instead of the chain it came with.)
I am very pleased with the pendant, but not pleased with the chain.

Comment: This is a great necklace. It is as it appears in the photo. Sometimes the pendant doesn't glide smoothly on the chain, but this is minor. My husband likes it very much.

This fine quality Star of David pendant is crafted from sterling silver and showcased on a smooth, flat, sustantial rhodium-plated stainless steel curb chain that measures 24 inches and fastens with a spring ring clasp. The pendant has a smooth flat shape with a brightly polished finish. It showcases a traditional design, with interlocking triangles forming a six-point star. A tapered single bale joins the pendant to the chain.
