I bought this and the matching pendant, the pendant on the other hand was beautiful, the emeralds are very rich and dark and looks much more expensive. If it hadn't been for the color of the stones, I would hace kept the earrings. Editorial Reviews: These enchanting dangle earrings showcase emerald flowers with petite diamond centers. Four oval emerald stones are prong set in 14 karat yellow gold to create the flower petals. The emeralds have a rich, slightly cloudy kelly green color and a faceted cut for a pretty sparkle. Small round diamond accents at the center (.018 cttw) provide a striking contrast. Superb colors elevate emeralds to among the most precious gems. Their velvety green hues come from impurities (called inclusions) that cloud the clarity. These fissures in emeralds are also called a "jardin" for their plant-like appearance that deepens their vivid garden shades. The earrings are set on slender curved posts of 14 karat yellow gold and fasten securely with leverback closures.
