But I don't think these are all that healthy. Malitol syrup, one of the main ingredients in the bar, has a negative affect on some diabetics. And though the amount may be negligible per bar, there are partially hydrogenated oils... meaning, there is some trans fat in the product. So I'd say they're okay for a rare treat, but you may not want to add them to your weekly shopping list just yet. I previously used the meal bar size but found it to have more calories than I wanted to ingest. The mini bar size is ideal. The taste is great and very satisfying. I've used some other Glucerna bars but like the chocolate peanut the best.
