Conversely, nothing smarter than a cheap watch that is always accurate? Well, not quite - the plastic crystal scratches, and the appearance is definitely not up to Tiffany standards. But I've had the watch at least two years, no problems (except for minor crystal scratching), and am very satisfied! I agree the strap is narrow and the crystal is plastic and will probably scratch, but I wasn't expecting a Rolex. I just got back from an across-the-country trip and found it easy and convenient to change the time. The watch is comfortable, easy to read and has all the functions I need. Before purchasing the watch I red reviews and was kind of skeptical. After I received the watch and took it to local watch shop just to see if they can change battery. They opened the watch, looked at it and asked me why I asked about the battery. Well, I told them about one review where the guy is saying that in order to change the battery you have to send it to the factory....guys were kind enough not to laugh at me. Same goes for the guy who say, that his wrist band broke right away...trust me, you have to be Hercules to break this wrist band. It is made of very soft but tough material. So, please do not pay attention to negative feedback about this watch. It is great. I checked to see how accurate it is and was very pleased to see that accuracy is very good. Design is very ergonomic, fits very good; night light looks cool in the dark. For the money it is the best watch you can buy in my opinion. More Reviews

It receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal (once per day at 1 AM) or manually update the Waveceptor to the atomic clock. It has a durable hardened plastic case with a silver bezel, a grey frame around the digital display, and comfortable resin band that tapers down from the case. It has a stopwatch with a number of performance timing features, and it offers such timekeeping functions as 12/24-hour formats, year/month/date/day display (with an autocalendar to the year 2039), daylight savings time on/off, and world time for 29 different cities. It has 5 independent daily alarms and an optional hourly time signal. Other features include water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet) and AfterGlow LED electro luminescent backlight. The quartz battery has an approximate 1.5-year battery life.
