Summary: Very Nice Collection To Start With
Comment: This package is a good one to start with if you are starting yoga. A combination of a yoga mat (which is essential for doing yoga) plus blocks and a strap which can be used to help with poses - such as more support or help stetching.
The DVD is also nice with the two routines, so all together this one will get you on the way nicely. Of course people will always have their own favorites - meaning I know practioners who when they progress get very picky about things such as yoga mats and can spend alot of money on them, but for starting out this package is complete and contains all you need at a great price.
Highly recommended for the price and what is all included.

Comment: The video doesn't really use most of the props but I will use them for other videos. And the guy teaching the class is a little too much of a hippie for me. But my yoga instructor is always coming and aligning my poses for me, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE the lines for practice at home. I reccommend the kit, because you can't get a better price, and everything is quality. I like that I can see my hand and feet imprinted onto the mat, it helps me remember to stay grounded. Get the kit, but I reccomend getting some other videos to play. His workoug is quality though.

Comment: I am an absolute begginer to Yoga & I have to say this kit is impressive. It comes with everything a Yoga newcomer would need & includes a DVD with introductions to poses that is not intimidating at all. The 40 minute workout portion of the DVD is also great & trust me when I say you will very quickly realize what Yoga will do for your mind & body. I do find myself snickering at times at the very "mother earth" terminology used in Yoga by this specific instructor, but I found the overall workout very satisfying. It is also very nice that two guides are employed for novice vs. more advanced pose stances. Give this a shot & see what Yoga really has to offer. It is not impossible & you will find your body responding more willingly with each workout. Overall, this is a great alternative to the gym or jogging/walking.

Summary: Great for the inflexible
Comment: This is the first time I've tried yoga. I bought this kit because it looked good for beginners and came with yoga blocks/strap.
Well, I did it for a few days but then I found myself out of breath less than half way through the exercises. I was able to complete both of them a few times, now I just do yoga on my own.
I'm happy because I noticed after doing this that I could finally reach my toes (It's been a problem for me during soccer season)
I'm pretty much strayed from yoga and now I just stretch, but I'm using the mat still because it's thicker than a lot of other mats that I've seen. I don't use the arrows on it because stretching out that far doesn't work for me since I'm not yet full grown.

Comment: The mat, blocks, strap and video are all fantastic! Good for begginners and experienced since the video has two examples to follow. It jumpstarted me right back into my yoga practice. And the realignment exercise helped my posture in minutes. Get it!
